Architectural Design - Scope of Work
At Grubb Krämer Architecture, we follow the following stages during the project:
- Preparation of design sketches, taking the needs of the client, the layout of the specific site, planning and statutory requirements
into account.
- Advise the client on the feasibility of the project as designed, and time estimate for completion of working drawings forcouncil submission and statutory requirements.
- Working drawings for council submission and construction shall be prepared on client's approval of design sketches.
Meeting with the client – preferably on site so as to get an appreciation of the scope of the project.
- Receive, appraise and report
on the client’s requirements with particular regard to site information, planning requirements. It is at this stage that it
is important to receive the necessary documentation such as site development plans, site surveys, existing council plans etc in order
to ensure the adherence to the necessary planning and statutory requirements.
- Advise the client on the need for the appointment of
consultants and procedures to be followed to meet specific council requirements.
